Nic Maisano '04GS

Nicholas Maisano is an executive leadership coach who specializes in working with executives and their teams facing complex or adaptive business problems. He has worked closely with c-suite executives for over 15 years, supporting the development of leadership "team," strategic business insights, and the creation of operational scaffolding necessary to deliver results.

Complex business problems are often categorized by cycles of innovation and disruption. Successfully leading through these types of challenges requires developing new skills and mindsets that break from historical paradigms of leadership and emphasize development of organizational systems that accelerate learning and business decision making.

Maisano approaches his work with a client-centric mindset, meeting leaders and their teams where they are. There is no set curriculum, but there are key areas of development that enhance a leader's skillfulness. Specifically: developing meta-awareness of meaning making structures; increasing emotional literacy in self and in others; and seeing and thinking in systems

Maisano is an executive coach and leadership team sherpa at Google. He works with executives in the technical organization, supporting them in creating effective teams and the operations necessary to solve some of the worlds most challenging problems.

In addition, he works with select c-suite executives at small and medium sized businesses who are looking to create positive change in the world and are interested in developing themselves and their teams along the way.
