Dr. Ryan Michael Suspanic '22TC, '25TC, '25TC

Dr. Ryan has held various positions including as an Academic Advisor, Instructor, and Teaching Assistant within the Counseling and Clinical Psychology Department at Teachers College, Columbia University. At Teachers College, he was the recipient of the Shirley Chisholm Trailblazer Award as well as the Morton T. Embree Award for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning.

As a graduate student at Columbia, he served for two years as the President of The Coaching Club, and one year as the President of the Columbia University Triathlon Club.  The Coaching Club received the Exemplary Impact Award and the Outstanding Community Program Award in consecutive years under his leadership.  Previously, Ryan worked in the investment management industry in a variety of investor relations roles, including at The Carlyle Group and Ellington Management Group.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology magna cum laude from a small liberal arts college.  He holds a Doctor of Education, Master of Education, and Master of Arts degree from Columbia University, where he completed the Columbia University Coaching Certification Program.
