With a wealth of experience spanning philanthropy, financial services, and sports and entertainment, Sherrie Deans brings her expertise as a dynamic change agent and leader to coaching. As an Executive Coach, she integrates her proven ability to build organizations, foster transformative relationships, and implement impactful solutions into her coaching approach. Sherrie’s focus on strategic thinking, communication, and leadership development ensures her clients achieve meaningful personal and professional growth.

Previously, Sherrie served as Executive Director of the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) Foundation, where she expanded its global philanthropic footprint across 20 countries and initiated impactful programs like a UCLA certificate for NBA players. In addition to her role as head of the Foundation, she was appointed COO of the Union in 2020 during the coronavirus pandemic and helped the league successfully restart and finish the 2020 season in the NBA “Bubble.” 

Sherrie's career began in financial services, where she held leadership roles at American Express, MBNA America, and AIG Consumer Finance, managing operations on multiple continents. She founded the Intentional Group in 2022, focusing on sustainable strategies and impactful solutions for global organizations and leaders.

Sherrie is a graduate of Columbia University with a B.A. in Economics and Political Science. She lives in the Bronx, NY.
